Purapipe has entered into a strategic sourcing agreement with aerospace manufacturer 5 Axis Milling W.L.L. Under this agreement 5 Axis Milling will provide precision machined mechanical components and subsystems for Purapipe’s Mobile Pipeline Production systems and for the research and testing facilities in Bahrain.
“In the field of mobile pipeline production there are no off-the-shelf solutions, and many components must be custom made”, stated Mathias Dybvik, Purapipe CTO. “Access to local manufacturing services that can meet exceptional tolerances at short lead times is a critical success factor for Purapipe.”
