Mobile production of large pipelines requires heavy equipment. The Purapipe Mobile Pipe Production Unit is a 1200 ton tracked vehicle, and efficient control of the levelling and orientation requires sophisticated engineering of extreme proportions.
Located between the crawler propulsion system and the superstructure, the levelling systems allows the superstructure to be oriented independently of the crawlers, a necessity for a stable production platform.
Congratulations to our partners NBR and Hunger Hydraulik on completing the levelling system for our first mobile unit. The components are now on their way to Bahrain for further assembly.
