Purapipe in Northern Ireland was established in 2019 to engage with regional users and technology partners, including NI Water, Irish Water, and Ulster University. The NI region pursues sustainable water resources management and promotes water usage that meets both current and future ecological, social, and economic needs.
Supported by the Green Economy Development Team of Invest Northern Ireland, Purapipe recently had the opportunity to exhibit our technology at the launch event for the U.S. Net Zero Advisory Board. We had the pleasure of hosting Joe Kennedy III, U.S. Special Envoy to Northern Ireland for Economic Affairs, and Rachel Sankannawar, Invest NI’s Head of Green Economy Development, at our stand.
Mr. Kennedy welcomed the establishment of the new advisory board and the potential for increased U.S. collaboration. “As we face the global challenge of climate change, the innovation and talent of Northern Ireland’s green sector will be critical. This collaboration will advance our shared goals of reaching net zero, and I’m excited to see the outcomes it will deliver,” he said.
